Aisling Hotel Demolition, Reconstruction and Extension

The Aisling is one of Dublin’s best known hotels. Our brief included the demolition of the original four storey hotel building fronting onto Parkgate Street near Dublin’s Phoenix Park. This old hotel was reconstructed and extended, replacing the old hotel with a modern eight storey hotel building comprising new ground floor public facilities and 134 bedrooms.This was a very interesting and successful project, one which brought new life to one of Dublin’s best-known hotels. The job required careful planning and scheduling, given that the hotel is in a built-up area, adjacent to some of the main routes into the city.
