A new kitchen extension to the front and side of this house has allowed the ground floor to be reimagined and effectively turned through 180 degrees. The kitchen has moved from a confined east-facing position into a spacious new west-facing extension . The location of the house at the end of a cul de sac allows the new extension to open onto a private terrace which tracks the sun from mid day till sunset. What was the kitchen is now a comfortable family room. The extension has opened up better connection and communication between all the ground floor rooms providing different zones for family living throughout the day.
